Christmas, New Years and General Updates.....

I can't believe how long it has been since I've posted an update -- sorry to all who check in regularly for new pics. Needless to say our days and nights have been filled with loving on Caden. He's becoming such a big boy.



Christmas:
We spent Christmas with my family down in Springfield. We arrived on Christmas Eve and surprised Aunt Michelle at work before heading down to see Grandpa and Grandma. Michelle liked showing Caden around her office as "her baby". Bailey and Murphy didn't know what to think of Caden at first, but did decide that giving him kisses like Gus does was the right thing to do. Caden received tons of presents and is really going to need to toy box that I have been refinishing for him.




Caden's First Cold:
Also during our trip Caden developed his first cold. I never knew such a little person could create so much snot. He is not a fan of the booger sucker either. His poor little cough is the most pathetic thing I have ever heard. He's getting better -- mostly just congested at night and first thing in the morning.

New Year's:
We are not exactly the "partying" type these days.....on NYE Caden went to bed at 9:30pm, mommy was asleep by 10pm and only daddy watched the ball drop in Times Square. We spent the following day enjoying our extra day with the little man.

General Updates:
Caden is growing like a little weed -- see how different his Bears outfit fits these days. He's such a cute little man and we are grateful every day to have him in our life. He's doing so good at holding his head up, although when he gets tired you have to watch out or he could head-butt you. Weight wise we guess that he's around 15-16lbs. We don't have his 4 month appointment for another couple of weeks -- so he'll almost be 5 months by then. We are enjoying listening to him "talk" as he becomes more vocal. Caden has also started rolling from tummy to back both directions. He won't do it all the time, especially when his mommy and daddy really want him to.



PT Update:
PT is still going well. His therapist is impressed with his progress and we like seeing him excel as well. We hope we only have a few more months of this. His calcification is completely gone. Now we are just continuing to work on prevention of any new problems.
