His first car.....still getting the hang of all the new controls. This was a shower gift from Rob's co-workers and will be a big hit as Caden becomes more mobile. Right now he gets tired after holding his head up for too long.
His other new mode of transportation is mommy.....he prefers to face outward, but also likes to snuggle against mommy's chest. Can you guess which one mommy prefers?
In other Caden news -- he's getting better at rolling from tummy to back (still only does it when he wants to.) At PT this last week he was also starting to understand how to go from back to tummy. With a little help getting started he can almost get himself over. It's only a matter of time before we must Caden-proof the house. He loves to chew on his fingers and I keep warning daddy just wait till he moves on to his toes - lol. Sleeping is still going well on most nights -- 9pm to 5 or 6am is the norm. It's like he has an internal clock that won't let him sleep past 6am.
His Christmas cold did bring his first ear infection -- we've learned that he's not a fan of Amoxicillin. We have to chase it with a bottle or he spits it out. Another lesson learned is that Caden doesn't sleep well with an ear infection.
Tuesday is his 4-month check-up, so we are curious to see where he is on the growth charts. We are not looking forward to the shots. At his appointment a little over a week ago he was up to 15lbs, 8oz. We just love his chubby little thighs.

such a cute picture of you and caden! we're just starting to experiment with the carrier. haven't had any place to use it yet, but we're going to arizona in a few weeks, and i think it will come in handy at some spring training ball games...
