Our first night at home on Thursday with Caden was one filled with little sleep. It seems our little guy was so used to the close confines of his isolette and crib in the NICU that the openness of his pack n play bassinet was just too much for him. He did much better sleeping on mom or dad.
Friday brought our first venture outside with the little guy. While it does take longer to get out of the house now, I'd say that we did pretty good. Caden slept all the way to my Dr's office, through my appointment and all the way back home.
Friday night was better than Thursday. We dressed him in the Sleep Sack, which he loved so much that mommy went out and bought him a couple more today. Mommy got a little more than an hour of sleep in between diaper changes, feedings and other times where the little man wanted out of his bed. Daddy got up with the little man at 7:30 this morning so that mommy could get some more sleep.
The dogs have adjusted quite well to having the little guy around. He doesn't seem to mind their barking -- which is great when he's sleeping and they go nuts cause someone walked in front of their house. Bailey gives the most gentle kisses to his head. Gus is a little more obsessive. He always has to know where Caden is and is always trying to kiss him. If Caden makes any noise then Gus has to come over and make sure everything is ok.

He is so precious. We cannot wait to see him this weekend. We are already fighting over who gets to hold him first. I win! We love you all.
