Caden did end up under the phototherapy lamps yesterday -- he looks too cute in his little eye protection goggles. Although he doesn't like to keep them on. Feedings are still going well, the LC says that I just need to make sure he latches on properly to make sure he's getting enough milk. Pumping isn't too bad -- since we are only allowed to hold him every other feeding, the sense of accomplishment from pumping is good. I am hoping that we'll get to start bf at every session here soon. Waiting 6 hours between sessions to hold that baby boy is very hard.
Daddy spent last night at home and missed his baby boy very much. Mommy isn't looking forward to leaving her baby here tonight when she finally goes home. Gus and Bailey will be very excited that mommy is coming home. Hopefully, it won't be too emotionally draining to leave the baby in the NICU.
