The Mason Werner Foundation & Other Stuff

It's official The Mason Werner Foundation is a legal entity. We will raise money for SIDS awareness, research and bereavement support. As part of the awareness phase we will be working with our daycare center (6 schools throughout the metro) and our pediatricians office to distribute a onsie that promotes the back to sleep campaign -- design coming soon. Research funds will be given to the CJ Foundation. And bereavement funds will go to SIDS resources.

While I wish we didn't have a reason to start a foundation, at least we have something to focus some of this grief on. We hope that some day no other parent will know the pain of losing a child to SIDS.

A Caden story.....it is amazing how quickly a toddler gets into a routine. Caden is now the Diet Pepsi stock boy at our house. We've caused two meltdowns this week alone by trying to do it without him. So funny!

Will is becoming such a big boy....he insists on sitting up all the time. He likes to play with toes, his toys and just looking around the room. He's so intrigued by his big brother. And the feeling is 100% mutual. Although Caden was not a fan the other morning when Will grabbed a fistful of his hair and yanked it.
